Riviera Beach, FL (December 5, 2017) – On November 27th, the Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (RBCRA) hosted the Creativity Station Open House at the Riviera Beach Marina Event Center located at 190 E 13th Street, Riviera Beach.

The Max M. Fisher Boys and Girls Club Marching Band opened the event with an exciting drumline repertoire and Digital Vibe entertained with music and dance as parents gathered to pre-register to RBCRA’s new winter, spring break and summer camps, as well as for the Small Business Resource Center.

“Our goal with these new camps is to provide youth and adults with real world educational and training tools,” said Scott Evans, interim executive director of Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency. “The diversity of these programs exposes children to find something they are passionate about at an early age.”

Partners, such as the Junior Achievement (JA) and Comerica shared information about the RBCRA’s new programs on the entrepreneurship, technology, financial literacy and business fields for both children and adults. Camp pre-registration is still open. Programs offered are:

• Adults: Small Business Resource Center – The Business Ambassador Service Center, located at 1229 E. Blue Heron
Boulevard, Riviera Beach, will provide adults with business development training, financial literacy and readiness

Riviera Beach
• Youth & Seniors: TechBus – At this program youth and seniors become more tech-savvy by learning how to access
their email, use Facebook, Internet safety, and sharpen their reading skills.

STREAM3 Academy
• Ages 12 to 18: Hack-A-Thon – At STREAM3 Academy, youths can learn about coding, game design, robotics, app
development, 3D printing, web design and filmmaking.

Junior Achievement (JA)
• Ages 5 to 11: JA More than Money – This program allows kids to learn about the role of money in society and provides practical information about early earning, saving, and sharing money.
• Ages 8 to 13: JA BizTown – This fully interactive simulated town helps students connect the dots between what they
learn in school and the real world.
• Ages 14 to 18: JA SPARK – Kids ages 14 to 18 who are passionate about business can take advantage of this business
and entrepreneurship focused program. Participants can pre-register by calling the RBCRA at (561) 844-3408. Slots are limited.
