(Miami, FL – April)  – The Black Owned Media Alliance (BOMA) has nominated the Mosaic Group for Marketing/PR Firm of the Year. Awards will be presented at the 2017 BOMA Awards Luncheon, which takes place on Wednesday, April 26th at the Hilton Miami Airport, 5101 Blue Lagoon Drive Miami, FL 33126. The BOMAs were created to honor agencies, businesses and individuals that make a positive impact in the black community. This years’ BOMA Awards features Cheryl Pearson McNeil, Nielsen’s Senior Vice President of U.S. Strategic Community Alliances and Consumer Engagement as the keynote speaker.

“I am always humbled by receiving awards for doing my job,” says Mosaic Group CEO Ann Marie Sorrell, “I hope that we continue to make a positive impact in all communities as we move forward.”

The Mosaic Group is an eleven-year-old full service marketing/events/PR company servicing the tri-county area of Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade. The Black Owned Media Alliance was established to address the disparity that exists in advertisement spending with Black Owned Media.

This year’s theme is “Cornerstones to Wealth” and will feature a Keynote Luncheon and screening of Generation One: The Search for Black Wealth. There will also be panel discussions covering the following topics:
